Can I get a commitment from the RNC and the candidates for Chairman that 1) they will support the 2nd ammendment in its entirety, not just for "hunting" weapons and 2) can the party stop acting like Democrats and stop supporting the giving away of taxpayer money to a bunch of incompetents and crooks on Wall Street and socializing the country in the process?

I am Sixteen years old and have recently ask all my friends and relatives my age what they think of climate change. Almost everyone I asked byes into the myth that Al Gore and the Democratic party has created and forced into the schools. As RNC chairman would you be willing to launch a campaign targeted at American youths to dispel the myth of human caused climate change?

With our great nation having been founded by free market, individual liberty loving Americans who restricted our Congress from leveeing taxes on labor, isn't it time the Republican Party seek the repealing of the Sixteenth Amendment, which unfairly discriminates between people of different classes and marital statues, as well as redistribute privately earned wealth?

I would like to buy a house, but I cannot afford to. Why should only those rich enough to itimize on income tax get to pay part of their mortgage with "before tax" income? Implementation of the Fair Tax would allow everyone to pay their mortgage with "before tax" income. Will the RNC support the Fair Tax?

What, in your opinion, is the difference between Democrats and Republicans? I can see no difference, so please clarify what being a Republican is all about.

I am from Tennessee, where we have recently elected the first Republican majority in both chambers of the General Assembly for the first time since Reconstruction. We have done so in the face of a difficult national political climate through bold campaign tactics, the kind missing from the RNC this decade. Provide an example of the kind of bold campaigning that we could expect under your term as Chairman of the RNC.

Do you believe in truly free markets and that all prosperity comes from free markets? Will you work to remove the countless laws and regulations on the books which cripple small businesses and inhibit the spirit of the entrepeneur? And do you believe in sound money and a gold standard to back it?

Will you support and defend the unalienable right of the people to keep and bear arms of military utility? If not, what are you afraid of?

Do you believe income taxes are a major, unnecessary burden on the American people, and support the repeal of the 16th Amendment, as does Ron Paul?

Considering the "roar" that the GOP Base emitted in June 2007 as a response to McCain/Kennedy, how important do you feel it is to seal the border and strictly enforce existing immigration laws? DD

Having Michael Steele, who is clearly clueless about the 2nd Amendment as the Chair, is exactly the wrong way to energize the base. I vote for Ken Blackwell.

How will the RNC, under your leadership, shift its focus away from the special interest groups (MSM, UN, US Chamber, and other NGO's + foreign gov'ts such as Mexico) and center its attention on the "estranged" GOP Base?

Shouldnt we try to restore our original path set down by our founding fathers by adhering closer to Jefferson/Madisons instructions concerning foriegn affairs (do not be empire builders) and defend our civil liberties as they advised us?

Specifics, please. Would each candidate address this question. Since we have more than 20,000 gun control laws in the U.S., and the Centers for Disease Control said it can find no evidence that any gun control laws has ever reduced crime, will you categorically state that you will fight the passage of any additional gun control laws? The position of the RNC Chairman and the RNC on this one issue will determine whether I continue my lifelong support of the Republican Party.
