Does the party need to move backwards to the days of Reagan and re-grow its root’s; or forwards to a new shinning city on the hill and a new party, with new ideas? How do we accomplish this and what is your strategy to do so?

What will you do to help us move away from the increasingly liberal spending that elected members of our party have become party to over the last several years? Whatever happened to the idea that "government that works least works best?"

Do you believe the Second Amendment is an individual right, and as such a human right?

What strategy will you use or put in place to counter punch the mainstream media bias which has now become an unpaid campaign arm of the Democratic party?

If money is the mother’s milk of politics --- that’s a famous quote from a famous politician in California in the 1960s --- Jesse Unruh --- then current Chairman Mike Duncan has, according to press reports, set fundraising records --- over $400 million raised --- in 2006 and 2008, both bad election cycles for Republicans. What else can or should be done by the RNC Chairman leading into the 2010 election cycle? I would ask each of the five contenders to answer in alphabetical order and then Chairman Duncan to respond. President Elect Obama has been an advocate for anti-gun policies during his entire professional and political life. VP elect Biden has introduced an Assault Weapons Ban as recently as 2007. The House and Senate are let by individuals who vigorously support anti-gun legislation. I would like to know exactly where each candidate stands on Second Amendment issues and what each candidate would do to oppose future gun control legislation.

Have you watched I.O.U.S.A.? Is there any way the RNC can employ the services of David Walker in helping set policy positions?

There are many ways to build an online community of Republicans and conservatives. Many tehnno-oriented folks are already members of groups on Twitter and Facebook and are "Digging" conservative and Republican sites into popularity. The Obama campaign did a tremendous and unprecedented job of compiling a list of supporters with email addresses. They then used these connections to build more support via MyBarackObama.com. They are still emailing these supporters for contributions. How will you go about connecting Republicans and building an active community online?

At the 2008 Republican national convention, state delegation chairs were allowed to suppress votes for candidates other than the presumptive nominee. Do you believe this is the proper way to handle the roll call vote of the states, or do you believe that the RNC Chairman and other leaders should allow all delegates to cast a vote for the candidate of their choice? What do you think are the ramifications for the Party either way?

Will you be proactive in finding candidates to oppose Republicans who run afoul of the law or are heavily investigated and put normally reliable seats in jeopardy (a big reason why Barack Obama is so close to a blank check in governance!) George Templeton (not Templeto as it is listed)

What was your position on the bailout for the banks, also known as TARP? Supporting it would disqualify you to be RNC chair in my view. George Templeton (not Templeto as it is listed)

How can the new chairman of the RNC craft a message of lower taxes and smaller government that appeals to non-white constituents and women? Voting statistics clearly show that the conservative message is considered in the best interests of white males but not others. How can we craft a platform that focuses on our traditional Reagan-based principles while broadening our voter base - and, most importantly, not becoming more like Democrats?

Will the Republican Party support a tax policy that views taxes as a method to fund government rather than shape behavior?
