Whether it's to the left or the right, the farther a candidate goes off the middle of the road, the less voters that candidate attracts. Do you feel that the party has gone too far to the right? The party must become more moderate in order to attract more voters.
Secondly, as a fiscal conservative, the past eight years have been a complete and utter disgrace. Our debt is now over eleven trillion dollars and we are involved in a very unpopular war. Do you feel that the party must change its view on these two things? During the primaries, there was perhaps only one or two candidates that felt this same way. Perhaps it's time to go back to our old conservative ways. Ronald Reagan is turning in his grave over how it's been handled. p.s. DUMP Sarah Palin

i am wondering if as chair you would encourage the rnc to make more funds available to state district representative candidates running for u.s. house? if those seats are important than help us win with extra dollars.
congress will of course never legislate an increase as it would not benefit those already seated in wdc.

What will the RNC Chairmen promote to limit government? Will they support changing free education to income qualified, sliding scale where the money follows the child to any accredited school? Will you support the elimination of anti-competitive tax credits and business subsidies that distort value and risk? Will you advocate non-government competative solutions for healthcare, housing, education, social security, medicare and medicaid? Will you free the citizen's of the United States from the suffocating monopoly that is government at a school, local, State and Federal level?

As a very fiscally conservative Republican I get frustrated at all the spending and pork that Republicans are responsible for. We are told that the GOP has heard us, but unfortunately not all the elected officials have. We will be hearing this forever. As chairman what would you do to elected members that aren't showing themselves to be fiscally responsible?

It is clear that the Ron Paul people are the only ones that care about the Republican Party and want to spread the message of Liberty and Truth for the Republican Party. How can we bring these people together with the party as oppose to alienating them and making the most active members of the Republican Party, "Paulites", resent the party?
